Alex Kalomeris is an artist from the foggy hills of Northern California. His work has been featured on TV, published in books, and shown in classrooms around the US. Alex now resides in Los Angeles. He uses his passion for world building to bring stories to life through illustration and animation.

When not working in animation, Alex combines his love for art and nature to create illustrations for Mystery Science, an education company based in SF.

Alex draws from his adoration and curiosity for the natural world. Traveling and recording what he sees, he takes in his experiences and imbues them with pen and ink.

When not in his studio, he can be found wandering the hiking trails of Los Angeles, foraging mushrooms or deep in a dungeon playing D&D.
